Going under the knife
Bit of an attention-seeking post but I'm bored so here goes.

In sat here in a hospital gown, waiting on surgery to remove a tumour from the top of my spine. What was thought to be carpal tunnel causing the tingling in my hands turned out to be, well, that.

Anyone had neck surgery of any sort before? How bad was the pain after? I reckon the 6-12 weeks in a neck brace will be a bit of a hassle.

Wish me luck.

Well done mate. Just got out myself after surgery & it's a bit sore now, with many weeks/months of recuperation ahead! All you old boys out there, get your PSA checked regularly. I did & it's saved me far more serious problems!

Re: Going under the knife
When I last had major surgery, I was visited by Kiera Knightley and Helena Bonham-Carter who for some reason had neglected to put on any clothes.
Very kind of them to pop by in my opiate riddled state

Evening all.

Thanks madeeasy for giving an update. 8.5 hour surgery was a success. I am now Frankenstein-esque with bolts in my neck but I'll live.

The drugs help but I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone.

Have you got a 'thing' for having surgical staff near your genitals?
